About Me

I’m Yunus (Jonah) Shiddiq Ishs (Arabic: ﯾﻮﻧﺱ ﺻﺪﻴﻖ ﺇﺻﻬﺲ), son of ade ishs and Fety Aryani, younger brother of M. Daud Ishs, and elder brother of Zainab F. Ishs.

I was born in Melbourne, Australia. My birth weight was 3.570 kilogrammes. My birth length was 0.505 metres. (My dad still insists that all units be SI.) Like my parents’ and brother’s, my hair colour is black.

What does your name mean?

“Yunus” (English: Jonah) is a prophet of God sent to the people of Nineveh to worship the One God.

“Shiddiq” means veracious, after Abu Bakar as-Siddiq, the closest companion to Prophet Muhammad (God bless him and give him peace).

“Ishs” is a known nickname of my father.
